Amazing Grace Community Church was established out of obedience to God’s call, a love for people, and a desire to see lives changed through the grace of Jesus Christ. AGCC is part of the TORCH church family, sharing the same vision, mission, and biblical foundation, while serving the local community of Caney, Kansas, with a unique, relational, small-town heart.
Apostle Dr. Sabastien Udunna began his ministry journey in 1996 as a missionary in Burkina Faso with Mission des Apôtres. What began as a simple step of faith grew into a lifelong calling to evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. His ministry later expanded across several nations in West and Central Africa, where he preached the Gospel, trained leaders, and witnessed lives transformed by the power of God. In 1997, he was ordained into full-time ministry at Ouvre Emission Baptiste in Ivory Coast.
In 2000, Apostle Udunna was commissioned to serve in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where he pastored Living Water Jesus Is Love Ministries International. During this season, he met Brenda Udunna, and they were married in 2001—forming a strong partnership in life and ministry that continues to shape the vision of both TORCH and AGCC today.
Together, Apostle Dr. Udunna and Brenda have served in ministry for more than two decades, mentoring leaders, strengthening families, and helping establish churches across different communities. They are blessed with two sons, Jason and Jedidiah, and as a family, they are committed to modeling faith, love, stewardship, and service to God.
Under Apostle Dr. Udunna’s leadership, several churches were planted, including Amazing Grace Community Church in Caney, Kansas (2006). From its beginning, AGCC was established to be a local church with a family feel—a place where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out their walk with Christ in everyday life.
Beyond local churches, the founders’ vision also includes charitable outreach and support for those in need, reflecting a heart for both spiritual growth and practical care. Their passion remains the same today: helping people encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and walk faithfully in God’s purpose.
At the heart of this ministry is spiritual care and servant leadership. Apostle Dr. Udunna continues to provide spiritual covering, teaching, and guidance to the TORCH and AGCC church families, while Brenda Udunna serves as a spiritual mother, mentor, and leadership developer—supporting individuals, women, and families in their faith journey.
Together, they also lead the TORCH Leadership & Stewardship Academy, equipping believers and leaders to steward their calling, relationships, and influence with integrity and excellence.
Today, Amazing Grace Community Church remains firmly rooted in the same vision that birthed it—a simple, Christ-centered church family, committed to loving God, loving people, and walking together in faith. Our story continues as lives are changed, relationships are built, and God’s grace is lived out one step at a time.

As a sister church to Tower of Refuge Church, AGCC benefits from a broader spiritual family, shared resources, leadership development, and global outreach. At the same time, AGCC remains fully committed to serving Caney and the surrounding area with care, consistency, and faithfulness.
